Jigga and Cache were brought into our care as their life long master lost his home. " They love me , no matter what...They are loyal..."Such a true statement about dogs....Jigga was adopted as a young puppy. He is an old dog now and came in with an eye discharge that we are treating. Jigga is said to be a mellow pet, friendly to all, including children and unknown dogs to him.He would be calm, well behaved, housetrained and sleeps at night together with Cache on his master's bed... Jigga would prefer not to be bothered while he eats but it does not seem to have prevented a happy and harmonious life for the trio... Jigga is a sweet elder. He is still quite beautiful and healthy looking in his well groomed shiny and slightly wavy ebony coat. He has a very nice smile. He walks slowly and surely, handling going up the stairs better than going down. He sits slowly on command and comes right away when I call him, settling by my side, like he was my own dog. He lets me clean his eyes without a whisper, even that it took me a good 10 minutes to do a good job.He so loves to be caressed. I can see it in the way he looks at me... Jigga , clearly knows his ways around humans. He is totally cool with other pooches, even the barking ones or the little ones. He eliminates of course and without marking as soon as we leave the building. Whoever comes in contact with Jigga falls in love with him. He might be 12 but still going strong. He so deserves to spend his golden years, loved , cared for and respected in exchange for the outstanding services he delivered for so many years. Jigga has still a lot to offer. Will you open your home and your heart to this beautiful soul. Jigga is at the Manhattan Care Center.
