Gorgeous friendly amstaff Apollo in danger@NYC kill shelter in Manhattan, New York For Sale

Date/Time:11 Apr, 08:53 p.m. EST
Type: Pets, For Sale - Private.

A volunteer writes: Our Apollo is so gorgeous it's easy to imagine him morphing into the mythical god Apollo, with his lyre in hand and the Muses encircled at his feet! Like the handsome Greek god, our Apollo possesses elegant and youthful manners designed to win friends, canines and humans alike. On our walk, Apollo makes me laugh with a slight indiscretion. He tries very hard to meet a lovely female canine sporting a red scarf from the care center, prompting me to wonder if her name was Daphne! Having been surrendered to us when his owner no longer had time for him, Apollo joins us with wonderful comments such as he is housetrained, friendly with children and strangers, and playful with other dogs. His owner also mentions that Apollo might be vocal around other dogs and people, but on our walk at the park where he met a number of different dogs and people, Apollo was quiet and well-behaved. Having aced his behavior assessment, Apollo should be a wonderful addition to most families. So ask for Apollo today! Let him lord over your life! Another volunteer updates: What Mr. Apollo is missing in his cropped ears he more than makes up for with his gorgeous ear to ear smile.... Adopted from us a while ago, and recently returned, we're told that what they like best about Apollo is that he is "FULL OF JOY AND NEVER GETS UPSET". We're also told that he loves people, especially children, having lived with a 2 and a 4 year old, likes to play with a ball, likes all dogs, and is friendly to all. I've seen Apollo playing with other dogs and he's terrific - playful, respectful to all. He seems to love people equally, stopping his dog play to give the play group moderator a stand up hug, and then going back to play. He's gorgeous in his well groomed caramel color coat, his eyes sparkle with intelligence, fun and love. He's hoping for a new start with a new bestie......ask to meet our sweetheart today.
